Once someone expresses an interest in becoming an associate, they will be invited to a time of orientation with a sister or another associate. During this time (about 1 year), they will learn and discern about:

• St. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi
• the history of the community
• the charism, spirituality, mission and ministries of
  the School Sisters of St. Francis

while deepening their relationship with the community
by participating in:

• liturgical celebrations
• workshops
• meetings
