Archivist
The International Office for the School Sisters of St. Francis, a Catholic Women Religious Community and non-profit organization, is looking for an experienced Archivist to direct and manage the Archives of the School Sisters of St. Francis located on their historic campus in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Archivist will review, update, and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for the preservation, organization, acquisition, and accessibility of archival materials that document the life and mission of the School Sisters of St. Francis.

Co-Director of Finance

The U.S. Province of the School Sisters of St. Francis in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a Catholic Women’s Religious Community, and non-profit organization is looking for a Co-Director of Finance who will be primarily responsible for co-managing the fiscal Affairs of the U.S. Province.

The Co-Director of Finance reports to the Provincial Officers of the U.S Province of the School Sisters of St. Francis and oversees all the province’s financial activities such as investments, budgets and expenditures. The co-director creates financial policies and goals, assists in controlling expenses and develops financial strategies as necessary. The financial management of the province includes preparing reports and financial forecasts and keeping the provincial leadership apprised of important financial information.

Responsibilities include

  • Provides primary support to the treasurer in the financial administration of the U.S. Province’s financial activities, policies and procedures
  • Prepares or directs the preparation of financial reports including budgets, cost studies and statistical analyses, forecasting, assessments, long-range plans and audits
  • Reviews monthly reports to analyze projections against actual figures and recommends methods of improving financial operations
  • Assists leadership in preparation of financial reports, budgets, audits and long-range projections
  • Completes monthly reports on employment activity
  • Assists in the administration of various properties and assets that are the responsibility of the U.S. Province
  • Compiles the annual recommended distribution of mission advancement monies at the end of the fiscal year presentation to the Treasurer and to the board
  • Prepares and signs check requisitions and handles day-to-day activities as directed

Qualifications and Skills

  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance is required along with eight or more years working directly in finance
  • A Master’s degree in finance or MBA with a finance specialty is preferred
  • Knowledge of database and accounting computer applications to supply the most accurate financial information
  • A minimum of eight years-experience in financial management with increasing responsibilities for financial reporting and multi-faceted direction and planning
  • Advanced computer skills required
  • Possesses excellent communication skills both verbal and non-verbal
  • Supervises the staff of the Finance Department
  • Knowledge of corporate legal requirements preferred
  • Performs any other duties as directed by the Leadership Team pertaining to finance

Recruiter/Human Resources Assistant

The U.S. Province of the School Sisters of St. Francis in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a Catholic Women’s Religious Community, and non-profit organization is looking for a Recruiter/Human Resources Assistant to recruit for open positions in the nursing, environmental services, maintenance, security and food service departments along with office and salaried  positions as they become available.

The Recruiter/ Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for on-boarding new employees and various other responsibilities in assisting the Human Resources Manager with human resources tasks as needed, such as filing, in-service tracking, review tracking, workers compensation, open-enrollment, along with other Human Resources tasks as needed.  This position will be 24-40 hours per week, or 48-80 hours per pay period position.

Responsibilities include

  • Post open positions
  • Review resumes and phone screen applicants
  • Process job requests from hiring managers
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to determine hiring needs
  • Complete monthly reports on employment activity
  • Track employee start date and tenure
  • Track in-service attendees and review dates
  • Assist HR Manager with HR tasks as needed

Qualifications and Skills

  • A bachelor’s degree required from an accredited college or university pertaining to Human Resources.
  • 3-5 years of recruitment and human resources experience preferred.
  • 3 years of proven experience required.
  • Advanced computer skills preferred (Excel, Word, HRIS system).
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and non-verbal.
  • Valid unencumbered Driver’s license required.

RN
The U.S. Province Office for the School Sisters of St. Francis in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a Catholic Women’s Religious Community, and non-profit organization is looking for Registered Nurse’s.

The RN’s will provide care to the Sister residents at Sacred-Heart. The RN’s will work within a team structure with all members of nursing providing nursing related duties that include assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of activities that directly affect the overall care of the Sisters served.

The positions available range between 48-72 hour per pay period. The hours for the above positions are 230pm-11pm.

There is also one Nurse Advocate RN position available that is 40 hours a pay period from 630am-3pm.

The LPN’s will provide care to the Sister residents at Sacred-Heart. The LPN’s work within a team structure with all members of nursing providing nursing related duties that directly affect the overall care of the Sisters served.

There are two 56 hours per pay period positions available, one 48 hour per pay period position available and one 72 hour per pay period position available.  The hours for the above positions are 230pm-11pm.

The CNA’s will provide care to the Sister residents at Sacred-Heart. The CNA’s will work within a team structure with all members of nursing providing nursing related duties that directly affect the overall care of the Sisters served.  This position will have the ability to relate effectively and sensitively to frail and cognitively impaired elders and an ability to establish a helping, trusting relationship with the Sisters.

The positions available range between 32-40 hours per pay period. The hours for the above positions are 230pm-11pm.

SECURITY POSITION:

Part-Time Security Officer
The U.S. Province Office for the School Sisters of St. Francis in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a Catholic Women’s Religious Community, and non-profit organization is looking for a Part-Time Security Officer

The Part-time Security Officer Position is 24 Hours per period, scheduled every other weekend and is scheduled from 3pm-11pm. This Position also can pick up more hours if officers have a day off.

Experience in security is required. Benefits are available for 40 hour per pay period positions and above of medical, dental, and vision insurance along with 403B and an employee assistance program as well as competitive wages.
