How to Find Us
St. Joseph Center is located at the corner of Greenfield Avenue and Layton Boulevard (27th Street) on Milwaukee’s south side, just two minutes from the Mitchell Park Domes. Enter the beer garden at 29th Street and Orchard Street (one block south of Greenfield Ave.)
How to Purchase Tickets
Admission is free! Food and beverage tickets are available for purchase at the ticket tent on the day of the event.
Where to Park
Ample free parking is available in the Sacred Heart lot, 1545 S. Layton Blvd. You may enter at the corner of Layton Blvd. and Lapham Street (from the north) or at 28th Street and Lapham Street and then walk to the St. Joseph Center garden, following the marked pathway. Limited street parking may also be available in the neighborhood.
Watch for direction signs to the event.
There will be limited handicapped parking available in the St. Joseph Center / Chapel Garden Apartments lot - enter at 29th Street at Orchard.

What's On Tap?
Your first beverage purchase of $14 includes a commemorative beer stein with our Oktoberfest logo. Refills or cups of beer are $7. Beverage options include three special beers that Lakefront Brewing Company is crafting for the School Sisters of St. Francis!
- "Our Lager" - a classic, easy drinking lager
- “Our Stein” - an amber lager with a dash of caramel malt
- Oktoberfest - a classic German lager.
Root beer on tap, German wine, and water also will be available for purchase.
Bring your favorite beer stein! We'll be happy to fill it for you during the event for $7.

Guests are invited to try their skill and luck with bags (cornhole), giant Jenga, giant Connect 4, and Hammerschlagen (also known as “stump.”)

Did you know that the funds raised at Oktoberfest benefit thousands of people served by our sisters around the world?
- Young women in India receive formal education.
- Children with disabilities, who previously lacked access to education, learn independence and vocations in a beautiful school.
- Remote and impoverished villages receive solar power and wells for renewable energy and access to clean water.
- Families in Guatemala receive medical care, cooking classes, and scholarships to attend school.
- Our sisters, who have spent their lives as witnesses to our mission, are provided caring support in retirement.
