Chapel Blessing for Franciscan Jubilee Year

The Archdiocese of Milwaukee has designated St. Joseph Chapel as a pilgrimage site for the Jubilee Year honoring St. Francis of Assisi. This yearlong celebration was proclaimed in January by Pope Leo XIV to mark the 800-year anniversary of the saint's death.

All are invited to join our sisters as Auxiliary Bishop Jeffrey Haines officiates at a brief blessing ritual in our chapel, and encourages the faithful to make a pilgrimage to Franciscan churches and places of worship dedicated to St. Francis of Assisi. A brief reception will follow the blessing.
