Sister Rose Hacker was born in Pratt, Kansas. She received a bachelor of arts degree in biology from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas; a master of arts degree in biology from Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas; and a master of arts in pastoral ministry from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.

In the Archdiocese of Omaha, Sister taught at Ryan High School in Omaha (1981-1982) and served as a researcher/teacher at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha (1987-1988).

In the Diocese of Sioux City, Iowa, Sister served as a pastoral minister at Sacred Heart Parish in Spencer (1990-1996) and Sacred Heart Parish in Boone (2005-2017).

In the Diocese of Dodge City, Kansas, Sister served as pastoral minister at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Dodge City (1996-1998).

In the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph, Sister served as pastoral minister at St. Gregory Parish in Maryville, Missouri (1998-2005).

In the Diocese of Jackson, Mississippi, Sister served as a researcher/teacher at the University of Mississippi in Oxford (1983-1987) and since 2017 has served as pastoral assistant at Sacred Heart Southern Missions in Olive Branch.

Sister Mary Catherine Hauke was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She received a bachelor of science degree in elementary education and a bachelor of arts degree in English from Alverno College in Milwaukee, and a master of arts degree in ethics from Catholic Theology Union in Chicago. 

In the Diocese of Springfield, Illinois, Sister served as a chaplain at St. Mary Hospital in Decatur (1982-1983). 

In the Diocese of Rockford, Illinois, Sister served as campus minister for Aurora University and Waubonsee Community College (1983-1985).

In the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, Sister researched public policy and ethics for her congregation’s U.S. Province institutional sponsorship (1987-1993), served as chaplain at United Hospital System in Kenosha (2000-2011), and served as pastoral minister at St. Joseph Convent in Milwaukee (2011-2017) and Our Lady of the Angels Convent in Greenfield, Wisconsin (2011-2013). She also served as chaplain at Ascension Health Care in Milwaukee County (2013-2017) and homemaker/companion at St. Camillus in Milwaukee (2016-2017).

In the Diocese of St. Cloud, Minnesota, Sister served as a religious education consultant for the diocese’s educational ministries department (1993-1996).

In the Diocese of St. Paul-Minneapolis, Sister served as a legal secretary for Hedin Law Office in Minneapolis (1996-1998) and ministered as chaplain for Bethesda Lutheran Hospital in St. Paul (1998-1999).

In the Diocese of Joliet, Illinois, Sister served as a chaplain at Marian Joy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton (1999-2000). 

In the Archdiocese of Chicago, Sister has served since 2017 as a pastoral care director at Mercy Circle in Chicago.
