Sister Marilyn KettelerSister Marilyn Ketteler

Sister Marilyn Ketteler was born in Neligh, Nebraska.  She received a bachelor of science degree in home economics from the University of Nebraska in Omaha and a master of social work  degree from St. Louis University in Missouri.  In the Archdiocese of Chicago, Sister served as a   staff worker at 8th Day Center for Justice in Chicago (1993-1996).  In the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, she served on the provincial team for her congregation’s U.S. Province (2011-2019). In the Archdiocese of New Orleans, Sister ministered to the Elderly at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Orleans (1985-1989) and served as an assistant organizer for Seniors With Power Unlimited in New Orleans (1991-1993).  In the Archdiocese of Omaha, she served as a correspondence analyst for Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company in Omaha (1979-1980), as coordinator of volunteer services for her congregation’s novitiate in Omaha (1980-1981), as service coordinator for Columbus Community Hospital in Fremont (1996-2000), as service  coordinator for education services in Fremont (2000-2003), and as pastoral associate at St. Patrick Parish in Fremont (2003-2011).  Sister currently lives in West Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
