Tau Volunteer Mandy Mingilino

Mandy Mingilino offered 12 hours of service a week at Lazarus House in her hometown of St. Charles, Illinois this summer. She gave child care support to homeless mothers who needed time to take care of business. Mandy loved working with the children. The moms were grateful for the support and felt confident that their children were in good hands. Meeting regularly with Sisters Joelyn Hayes and Mary Boyd at St. Patrick Parish, Mandy also found opportunities to help in Sister Mary’s Spanish class. In June she assisted in preparing the environment for the Summer Bible School at St. Patrick’s. This was a multi-faceted ministry, but this Tau Volunteer met the challenge.
