Sister Bernadelle Mehmert

Sister Bernadelle Mehmert was presented with the Allis Care Center’s Annual “Shining Star Award” for 2008.  The Allis Care Center is a nursing care facility located in West Allis, Wisconsin. Sister Bernadelle joined the center when it was Villa Clement, at which time she served as coordinator for the School Sister residents.  In 1999, she was invited to join the new administration at Allis Care Center.  Her many years in music education and liturgical services have been helpful as she helps with resident activities, programs and liturgical services for residents of all faiths. Her winning smile, sincere empathy and unlimited energy uplift all those who encounter her.  Residents often say, “Ask Sister Bernadelle and then you know it will get done!” Sister Bernadelle continues to serve at the center.
