A self-assessment tool is available from the School Sisters of
St. Francis to help building managers, office employees, home owners and tenants examine their efforts toward environmental sustainability in such areas as:
- Energy conservation, efficiency and alternatives
- Water conservation and wastewater management
- Air quality preservation
- Waste reduction, reuse and recycling
- Natural environment preservation
- Organic and locally grown food production
- Plant and animal protection
- Building renovation and new building construction
