St. Joseph's Convent - Milwaukee
Sisters in independent living situations reside at St. Joseph Convent in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Many sisters at the convent are still actively involved in volunteer ministry within the neighborhood, in non-profit organizations on campus, and in the School Sisters of St. Francis central offices. Sisters generously respond to many needs with their time and talent. Sisters dine together and are able to attend daily Mass in the magnificent, historic St. Joseph Chapel. They also spend time before the Blessed Sacrament in the Adoration Chapel. Our sisters have many opportunities for self-enrichment by way of concerts, workshops, outings and spiritual reflection. Computer facilities are available for sisters to keep in touch with family and friends, and to stay informed about current issues. Health and wellness is emphasized and sisters use exercise equipment to maintain good health.
