School Sisters of St. Francis
Welcome

We are a United States Province of an international community. Our Province has over 660 sisters and 110 associates serving in 24 states.

Like Francis of Assisi, we commit ourselves to minister cooperatively, creatively and humanely to the needs of others. The School Sisters of St. Francis are committed to spreading the Good News of Jesus through educational, pastoral and healing ministries.

School Sisters minister as teachers, school administrators, nurses, parish associates, directors of religious education, musicians, social workers, lawyers, psychologists and office staff members. We are women of faith, responding to the needs of the times.
