Campbellsport Pilgrimage
A visit to St. Joseph Convent, Campbellsport, Wisconsin.
A retirement facility for School Sisters of St. Francis
Twenty one associates including three
prospective associates were spiritually energized by our visit to St. Joseph Convent Campbellsport on Saturday, Sept. 29th. We were warmly welcomed by the Sisters who made us feel like we are important people in their lives. The Sisters assured us that we are prayed for in their daily intentions at Mass. (Incidentally, we also found out that each month a Mass is offered for us at the Motherhouse in Milwaukee, WI.) Some associates visited with sisters who reside at the convent before joining them for lunch. What joy we brought to each other.

In the afternoon, Sister Barbaralie Stiefermann gave us much to think about as she made a presentation to the sisters and associates on “Water”. We learned about how this precious resource is diminishing and discussed ideas on how we personally can made efforts to conserve water.
Jean Hamann, a long time associate, led us in a prayer service. It was impressive to see the associates lined up across the front of Clare Hall so the Sisters could visualize the number of their guests as we offered prayers for each other.

A visit to Campbellsport is not complete without the traditional root beer float to end the day.
