School Sisters Highlight International Day of Peace
The School Sisters of St. Francis, staff, tenants of St. Joseph Center Campus, and students and faculty/staff members from Nativity Jesuit Middle School, gathered at noon on September 21st to pray for peace. The gathering took place around the Peace Pole in the garden at St. Joseph Center in Milwaukee. The prayer was held in solidarity with millions of people around the world who prayed for peace at noon on September 21 as part of a global commemoration of the 27th Annual United Nations’ International Day of Peace.
