The members of the General Assembly Nomination Committee will be meeting from February 20–27 in Milwaukee. On the first day, they will study the Discernment-Nomination process designed by the Ad-Hoc Nomination Committee in May 2008 and approved by the General Assembly Steering Committee at that time. The following days will be spent in planning for the implementation of this process in the respective provinces. Because this process is so important in the discernment and nomination of Sisters for the next International Leadership Team, time was spent at the GPL meeting explaining the process to the Provincial Teams, who wholeheartedly supported it and promised to help the members of the Nomination Committee with its implementation in their provinces.
