The Formation Directors from each of the five provinces of the School Sisters of St. Francis will meet at the School Sisters of St. Francis motherhouse in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from September 8-12, 2008. The International Leadership Team holds a meeting of the Formation Directors once during their term of office. The intentions of the meeting are:

• To deepen our call to be a Franciscan presence as Formation Directors combining contemplation and action as individuals and as community.
• To foster our awareness of forming members for the diversity within an international congregation with Response in Faith as our common base.
• To create among us a spirit of mutual support and dialogue as we face the shifting realities within our time and cultures.
• To agree on some action steps to be taken in SSSF Formation Ministry between now and September 30, 2009.
