Indian sisters celebrate Silver Jubilees

In the 1960s young women came from Kerala, South India, to Germany and entered our community. They were educated as nurses, midwives, kindergarten teachers and parish assistants. In 1975 they began returning to India where they started new ministries. Many young women joined them and the community grew rapidly. The first of these young women were received in 1980 and made their first profession in 1982. This year they are celebrating their Silver Jubilees – a new milestone in the life of our community in India. Our heartfelt congratulations!
