Participants in the School Sisters of St. Francis “International Community Experience” or I.C.E. are gathering at the SSSF Motherhouse in Milwaukee from June 14-July 11th. Various special events, meals, and liturgies allow the sister-participants from the five provinces to get to know one another at a deeper level. The purpose of I.C.E. is to generate enthusiasm for the multicultural identity of the congregation, foster leadership skills, deepen the spirit, charism, history and mission of the community, and achieve greater understanding among the sisters of all provinces.
