The School Sisters of St. Francis, especially sisters and associates serving along the U.S.-Mexico border, are actively involved in educating Catholic parishioners and others about the issue of human trafficking. Sisters have attended workshops along with Texas law enforcement officials and others to learn more about this ever-growing problem along the border and in various parts of the U.S. The community also has collaborated with other congregations to raise awareness about human trafficking in connection with the Super Bowl.
