Become a Volunteer

The vision of the School Sisters of St. Francis is a world transformed through peace, justice and love. To help make that vision a reality, the community facilitates volunteer service opportunities throughout the United States.

Working alongside sisters and associates, volunteers have opportunities to serve in Latino, African-American, Appalachian and northern urban communities. These opportunities include:

  • Education and advocacy for immigrants
  • Social services and community development
  • Health care and personal services with older adults
  • Summer Bible camp leadership with children
  • Education and activities coordination for school children
  • Assistance with craft shows
  • Participation in ministry along the United States-Mexico border

We invite you to learn more about opportunities to participate in the Tau Volunteer and Tau Intern programs.
