I am Sister Barbara Goertz

My ministry: I use my extensive training and knowledge in computers and networks to assist teachers at Messmer Catholic Schools, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I help them to integrate the use of technology more fully into their curriculum and lessons. I’m able to touch the lives of students and staff in a positive way.

What I enjoy: Going out for dinner with good friends rejuvenates me, and I love creating websites and videos using software programs.

Why I chose to be a School Sister of St. Francis: The joy! Every School Sister of St. Francis I’ve met has been genuinely joyful and full of life.

Our community: Our community life is a very real model of how people can live together in peace and mutual respect, despite differences.

Our future: I’m excited to be a School Sister of St. Francis because we represent hope for our troubled world. We are people from very different backgrounds, but we are still able to represent one another and work together to make a positive difference in our world.
